The University of Nairobi celebrated its 64th Graduation on December 11, 2020 virtually.

In the 2nd virtual graduation Ceremony, two doctorate honorary degrees were conferred to Prof. Julia Ojiambo and Dr, Prof. Micere Mugo for their outstanding service and contribution to society.

In a very colorful ceremony filled with pomp, the University of Nairobi celebrated its 50th year.

The University held a ceremony that showcased its milestones and progress through the last five decades.

The theme for this year’s world AIDs day was ‘Global Solidarity and shared responsibility’. The campaign will explore different aspects of HIV prevention and how they relate to specific groups of people, such as adolescent girls and young women, key populations and people living with HIV.
